"Acoustic demo EP recorded at Best Of Studio, Athens. Original music and lyrics (in Greek). These six tracks are acoustic previews from an album I am in the process of recording, entitled Black Mirror. All original lyrics come from the collections of poems The Exile of Archangels (Iolkos Publications, 2005) and Black Mirror (unpublished, 2007).

Dance of the Spider - Greek version of The Quay, from the album Salutatio Bonorum. Inspired by the famous, circular tarantella dances of the south of Italy. The allusion is not musical, but more in terms of allegory and metaphor.

Exorcism for the Blues - Greek version of The Time of Blues, from the album Salutatio Bonorum (with a few additions and adjustments). One of my darkest songs, inspired by a series of Tarot readings in all of which the Death card appeared. This card does not predict an actual death, but mostly a "transformation", or a radical change in one's life. This song is a also a kind of musical "exorcism" referring to the tragic fate of many blues singers and musicians, among whom Johnny Ace and Billie Holiday.

In the White Room - When darkness falls, the city looks like a river of lights under the eye of the moon. From the white room, someone watches...

Omnia Vincit Amor - Love conquers all.

The Wanderer - Greek version of A Girl's Dream on the Porch, from the album Salutatio Bonorum. A tribute to all those restless souls that never find a place to settle down and be like everybody else. Themes and imagery inspired by Heraclitus, Giordano Bruno and the Biblical texts.

Xibalba - Greek version of Little Howling Hyena, from the album Salutatio Bonorum. Xibalba is, according to the Mayan mythology, the underworld below the surface of the earth, which is governed by demons and spirits of death. The equivalent of Greek Hades or Christian Hell, it seemed an appropriate title for this very dark song, which speaks of the fearsome depths of the soul and the subconscious."^^xsd:string
