In the context of this project the first versions of the tracks you can hear on this album were created, sung at that time by Ur&scaron;ka Samec and Mojca Žerjal. Encouraged by the reaction of the people around them, the group continued with their work. In the summer of 2002 the singer Neža Trobec - Terop&scaron;ič joined the team. After a couple of (quite worthless, in the band's opinion) gigs as a  "laptop + singer + guitarist", the moved past that and organised a full fledged band, which now consists of 7 full members and a sound engineer (Neza Trobec - Terop&scaron;ič: vocals; Monika Fritz: backing vocals; Jure Praper: guitar; Aljaž Tulimirovič: guitar; Samo "Herb Boy" Pečar: bass; Andrej Hrvatin: percussion; Borut "Spritzer Boy" Praper: drums; -- and Robert Oven: sound (whenever possible :)) </span></span></p> <p style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify" align="justify"><span lang="EN-US" style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN-US">The first album by SUR, recorded, produced, mixed, mastered, and published by the band itself, was the first statement the band made, and at that time the material still strongly focused on sounds and production. After this album the band swam into more familiar (as most long-time musicians in the band are concerned) waters of alternative rock, so the band's next release will not be all that similar to this one.
