"Melodic, jazzy, and original:&nbsp; my first Jamendo album, <strong>evolution.<br /> </strong> <p>I don't know what to call my music; it is somewhere between jazz fusion, progressive rock, and <em>The Twilight Zone</em>.</p> <p>I <em>do</em>, however, know what to call myself. I have deliberately released this music under my own name&mdash;and not some fictional band name&mdash;because it is <em>me.</em></p> <h2>The Album Cover</h2> <p>The photo is of the interior of the St.&nbsp;Augustine Lighthouse.</p> <p>I chose the name <em>evolution</em> for this album because my musical career has been just that&mdash;and this is the point in time where I test my new legs out on the burgeoning continent of the Internet. This is the cycle of life&mdash;spiraling ever upward.</p> <p><em></em></p> <h2 class="section">The Songs</h2> <p>None of these have words. They are feelings and situations. Sometimes they tell a story; sometimes that story is so private I keep it secret.</p> <p>However, from November 27 to December 15, 2006, I wrote detailed &ldquo;liner notes&rdquo; for each of the songs on my first <a href="../../">Jamendo</a> album, <a href="../../us/album/3428/">evolution</a>.&nbsp; These were posted to<a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/"> my blog</a>; here they are, indexed according to track number:</p> <ol> <li><a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/11/27/tattered-and-torn/">Tattered and Torn</a>.</li> <li>Jennie Haniver: <a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/11/28/jennie-haniver/">part 1</a>, <a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/11/29/jennie-haniver-part-2/">part 2</a>.</li> <li><a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/11/30/all-ill-ever-be/">All I&rsquo;ll Ever Be</a>.</li> <li><a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/01/desolation-angels/">Desolation Angels</a>.</li> <li><a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/02/lucky-cat/">Lucky Cat</a>.</li> <li><a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/03/magic/">Magic</a>.</li> <li>Missing You (Song for Hannah): <a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/04/missing-you-song-for-hannah-part-1/">part 1</a>, <a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/05/missing-you-song-for-hannah-part-2/">part 2</a>, <a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/06/missing-you-song-for-hannah-part-3/">part 3</a>, <a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/07/missing-you-song-for-hannah-part-4/">part 4</a>, <a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/08/missing-you-song-for-hannah-part-5/">part 5</a>.</li> <li><a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/10/round-trip-ticket/">Round Trip Ticket</a>.</li> <li>Kelly&rsquo;s Theme: <a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/11/kellys-theme-part-1/">part 1</a>, <a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/12/kellys-theme-part-2/">part 2</a>.</li> <li><a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/13/desert-and-dream/">Desert and Dream</a>.</li> <li><a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/14/the-burning/">The Burning</a>.</li> <li><a href="http://bmccosar.wordpress.com/2006/12/15/sally-regrets/">Sally Regrets</a></li> </ol> <h2 class="section">About Me</h2> <p>If you've listened to my music, you know me. Here's the rest.</p> <p>I'm a public school teacher (sixth grade science), a husband, and an American Indian.&nbsp; As I mentioned in &ldquo; All I'll Ever Be,&rdquo; I switched careers midlife. Before teaching, I was a pharmaceutical research chemist; I have around 10 scientific publications.</p> <p>Online, I sometimes write for Wikipedia. Most of the time on the Internet, I keep a low profile.&nbsp; Other than that, I play music about 3 hours a night&mdash;it's better than aspirin for taking away the pain. And after 38 years on this planet, I definitely need aspirin.</p>"^^xsd:string
