"The music of <strong>Lunatic Moonriders of Uranus</strong> is a mixture of various musical genres, ranging from death metal to progressive rock/pop, ambient, jazz, folk and post-rock. Lyrics and song-titles are influenced by science fiction (e.g. <strong>Isaac Asimov, Philip K. Dick & Timothy Zahn</strong>) and the space in general.<br />
<br />
Lunatic Moonriders was formed in fall 2004. <strong>Moonride One</strong> was released in November 2004. <strong>Headquarters</strong> in April 2005. <strong>The Battle of the Qvaaki System</strong> in November 2005, which completed the original "trilogy". <strong>"EP"</strong> was completed in May 2006, after which there was a longer pause. <strong>Alpha Oceanus</strong> was released in September 2007.<br />
<br />
<strong>Commander Iuho</strong> (or one of his aliases) is the only member in Lunatic Moonriders, playing all of the instruments, composing/arranging all the music and producing all the recordings, with the exception of "EP" where "<strong>J. Karjalainen</strong>" played some drums."^^xsd:string
