"Russell Shipp has been writing music for over 5 years. After a somewhat depressing attempt at forming the hard rock group Terremoto of the Quiet Ones at Liberty University, with his roommate Jordan Strong, and lack of available and willing drummers, he decided to do what he could with what he had. During the slow death of the band, he decided that he would continue writing just as he had always done and take the Terremoto from Terremoto of the Quiet Ones (his personal creations) and see what happened. The result is an acoustic demo with himself on all instruments and a techno beat program for the drums. Terremoto uses sublime, even Beatlesque melodies presented with sharp rebuke to confront the spiritual and moral dilemma of modern America."^^xsd:string
