"The Band<br />
Since the beginning of 1999, PropheXy stylistic evolution attracted those who have crossed their path and listened to their music in those first five years. While the core remained the same (Matteo, Davide and Stefano where there from the beginning) changes in lineup added to PropheXy's sound the non-conventional bass arrangements of Alessandro and the inspiration of the guitarist Mauro Minelli. Later on, Mauro took another musical direction, while the recent arrival of Marco (on the sax) pushed the band to record the new songs "Scarto Quadratico Medio" and "Plasticosmic". Is clearly a major change in the musical direction followed by PropheXy. A deal is signed with the booking agency "CDT Promotion" which now manages band's gigs and merchandising. Despite the young age of the components of the band (around 25) many concerts where held in the past years, and two album released. Both "The Distance Behind" (2001) and "Enforce Evolve" (2003) received enthusiastic reviews from press and webzines. After the partecipation on the Italian official tribute to King Crimson ("The Letters - An Italian Unconventional Guide to King Crimson" - produced by Mellow Records) PropheXy decided to completely look forward to the next album, following the tradition of recording all tracks in their own studio. The band is currently working on the set of the next tour named "ScarTour", whose kick-off is to be announced around Spring 2006."^^xsd:string
