"
Bill is a composer and writer living in San Francisco. His first full-length CD – Eskimo In The Sun – was released in 1995, and songs for a second CD are currently in development. Bill is also collaborating on a collection of short stories to be paired with his music.

Bill began forming rock bands in the mid 1970s as a teen in Pennsylvania. With the power pop quartet Tina Peel, he played on various EPs and other live compilation recordings before moving to Texas and then California. Bill began playing publicly again in the mid-1980s, fleshing out arrangements in small clubs and cafes. In 1991 Bill and collaborator Wayne Ditzel assembled a new band in San Francisco that brought a full, more rollicking foundation to his music. Eskimo In The Sun was released 4 years later with the help of musicians David Fox and Dave Dewey, and the guidance of renowned San Francisco producer Dave Wellhausen (Chris Isaak, Maria Muldaur, others).

Eskimo In The Sun has a decidedly alt acoustic, rocking feel, reflective of Bill’s time living in the Southwest and Southern California. The compositions are tightly crafted, with a focus on melody, hook and harmony. Ditzel’s lead guitar work veers from Mark Knopfler through Dick Dale. Lost, loss and longing, and finding a warmer place; these theme weaves through the varied songs on the Eskimo CD.
Bill is preparing a new CD of material for release in early 2008. As it has been 10 years since the release of Eskimo In The Sun, he is re-issuing the CD ahead of the this new material."^^xsd:string
