They are not final </span><strong><em><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">definitive</span></em></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"> works. It was important to establish the </span><strong><em><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">concept </span></em></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">and </span><strong><em><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">ideas</span></em></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"> behind the albums before rushing to finalize them prematurely. The most important aspect of the music is the </span><strong><em><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">message</span></em></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"> so the lyrics for each song are provided. The melodies, harmonies and rhythms are just catalysts for conveying the emotion behind the </span><strong><em><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">message</span></em></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">. The lyrics are subject only to the </span><strong><em><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">truth</span></em></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"> provided in the </span><strong><em><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">Word</span></em></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">. Inconsistencies will be amended before a </span><strong><em><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">definitive</span></em></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"> version is published. Of course, percussion, bass, and other instrumentation will be finalized as well. </span><strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">Note: 90%</span></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"> of what you hear on the albums was done in one take, some songs were recorded the immediately after being written so you are hearing them as they were played for the very first time, mistakes and all. Furthermore, some of the songs were just </span><strong><em><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">ideas</span></em></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"> and are merely recorded improvisations. Most, not all, of the lyrics </span><strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">"stuck"</span></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"> and will be in the </span><strong><em><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">definitive</span></em></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"> versions. Mostly all of the lyrics have been amended and </span><strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">"locked in"</span></strong><span style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"> now.</span></div>

It is a word of Greek origin loosely translated “<strong><em>loss of interest in living</em></strong>”. "<strong>The Acedia Project</strong>" is a life void of <strong><em>interest</em></strong> or <strong><em>purpose... </em></strong>The <strong>A.D. (Acoustic Demo) </strong>cover art is incomplete.
