"Sharp Hall has been fiddling around with electronic music since he was 9 years old. He started with a computerized piano teaching system that included a MIDI sequencer. When he was 14 he discovered Linux and eventually decided he wanted to mix the two and discovered software such as spiralsynthmodular, Ardour, and zynaddsubfx. Now, 19, such tools are the basis for Sharp's laptop studio. Sharp has been <a class="external-link-new-window" target="_blank" title="Sharp @ ccMixter" href="http://ccmixter.org/media/people/sharp">a contributor</a> to <a class="external-link-new-window" target="_blank" title="Opens external link in new window" href="http://ccmixter.org/">ccMixter</a> since it's creation in late 2004, and an advocate for <a class="external-link-new-window" target="_blank" title="Opens external link in new window" href="http://creativecommons.org/">Creative Commons</a> since early in its lifetime."^^xsd:string1
