"o0o is Djev Swaen born in Trajectum ad Mosam in 1973 on the 4th of October. His daddy was a private eye and his mother worked for a big company. After the divorce of his parents o0o gets inspired by the music he hears and sticks his nose in many different styles . He listens to music his parents would listen to. Janis Joplin, Leonard Cohen, Neil Diamond for example. But also a lot of Dutch comedy performers like Toon Hermans, Wim Sonneveld, Jasperine de Jong and lots more..... And next to that get's overloaded with the modern music like Madonna, Wham, Prince etc... you know all the radio music from the early 80's (Dutch style!)<br />
Classical music entered his life at the age of 7 as his stepdad was an opera singer and pianist. o0o learned to play a few notes on the piano and to sing along. And so he got known with Beethoven, Schubert, Vivaldi, Chopin (his favourite) and many more again.... During puberty classic is out and new styles enter like new wave, punk, reggae, ska, hardrock, metal, glitterrock grunge and so on... He found Nina Hagen, The Cure, Iron Maiden, Velvet underground, The Smiths, Queen, the Police and soooo much more.....<br />
All these different styles kept entering o0o's life as later on he gets to hear a lot of folk music due to a friend from Italy who gave him tapes of local bands doing old regional folksongs. Belgium Rock like Deus or Zita Swoon are so different that it deserves a new genre... not to forget Zap Mamma...great talents. Oriental, jewis, arabic and more styles followed and the influence is gold!<br />

All these styles and many more have made o0o who he is now!<br />
<br />
After several failed attempts to play in bands he decides to work out music on his PC. o0o buys a music software called MM2005 and starts experimenting with a microphone inserted in his camera he recorded his first tunes. When he buys the MM2007 he also buys a cheap headset including a mic. Costs; € 05, 00!!!<br />
Later on he got a microphone as a present from a good friend but the darn mic is too good for his laptop and so he saves that one for live performances. <br />
He just recently bought his MM2008. Now all of his songs will be uploaded on Jamendo but one album at a time. <br />
