"<p> </p>
<p>LET'S GO FOR A RIDE was the second and final release of completely original material from live electronica act Misfilter. The songs were written and performed in early 2005 in the New York city area. With LGFAR, Misfilter changed pace quite a bit to more accessible rock, alternative and pop arrangements as evident on the songs "Reaching Out" and the title track "Let's Take a Ride". The space epic balladry of "Will You" explores dark and moody trip-hop with a hint of goth influence while on "Mr. Garvey" vocalist Hadley Poole sings about being the naughty lolita of an older man. The EP ends on an energetic driving note with "Take It All Back" which paid homage to the popular electro-clash trends of the time.</p>
