This time around I wanted to carry on the folky/country feel (amongst other elements) of my last album, Make Believe, whilst adding up more upbeat sound, by fusing elements of r'n'b & rock. Most songs have the drums & acoustic guitar as the main focus, as well as rich vocal harmonies. Another thing I wanted to do, as I did on Miracle Road, was keep the songs short. I wanted to have short & catchy songs that were easy to get into, stuff more accessible than alot of what I record. There's still experimental elements however, for example on the intro track - welcome to the show. There alot of reversed sounds, layered effect & tone shifts etc.<br /> <br /> I used my freshman acoustic on most of the tracks, recorded through a hama microphone. all outside instruments were hooked up to my line in input on my pc through a behringer xenyx 802 mixer. I used FL studio 6 for alot of the tracks & did most of the mixing & editing in audacity.<br /> <br /> Anyways Enjoy!"^^xsd:string
