"
Textures can only be described as a musical journey. When I originally sat down and planned the CD, my intention was to create a continuous piece of music that re-used themes and loops comprised entirely of shorter tracks of around 2 minutes in length. It's a strange way of doing things but I liked the idea of creating small pieces of music that can stand alone, but also sit together with the whole.

And so Textures was borne. Most of the tracks are 2 minutes and shorter and are entirely instrumental. There's a variety of styles and genres, ranging from calm soundscapes, ambient dance and out-and-out rock and roll.

I am particularly proud of Textures and I hope that those of you who buy a copy will find much on the disc to enjoy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Darren Lock is musician who has been recording his own music for over 10 years. His CDs are mainly instrumental pieces featuring virtual guitars, bass, keyboards, loops and ambient soundscapes.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Still not sure?
