"The Dead Horse Revival is the resurrection of an old song (called 'The Dead Horse') that I wrote when I was a teenager. (2002)

Song of Odysseus features Jake Bracken on bass (licensed with his endorsement). Cycling is one of my principal hobbies, and the lyrics were composed during a ride. (2001-2002)

Green Thumb and Wormwood were recorded for a children's program on a local television station. 'Green Thumb' was used as the music track for a commercial which was repeated several times daily for a few months. Cyberspace is derived from a similar recording. (2003)

Oasis is dedicated to my lovely wife, Marisa. I consider this to be the best track on the album. (2003)

Sketch of a Sunrise was almost entirely improvised. It was a quick recording that was used to solidify a few ideas, and I have since completed the composition with lyrics, etc. I am planning to make a more careful and polished recording for my next project. Perhaps I should have left the song off of this album - it is difficult for many listeners to overlook flaws in a recording and hear a song's potential. (2004)

Overall, this is a rather disjointed album. It is simply an aggregate of different things I recorded over the course of a few years, with no attempt to collect them under a common theme or anything."^^xsd:string
