" Magnetar / Lagrange4 is the main solo project of Prof Phineous. <br />

I am changing the name of the project to Lagrange4. When I first uploaded this album, I didnt set up a myspace first. As it turns out there are already 2 other music projects with the same name. So as not to confuse my european friends Magnetar will be the name of my new album.<br />
<br />
"The magnetar" will be the first album from LaGrange4, due out this summer. I have half of it finished thus far.<br />
<br />
This project is dedicated to primitive electro infused spacerock and audio soundscapes, and may contain anyone of the following, electric guitars and basses, drummachines, rants, screams, spokenword dubs (vocoded or highly effected) softsynths and hardware synths (rack and outboard) organic nature sounds, and samples of all of the above.<br />
<br />
The theme is space (inter and outer), alien civilizations, elder gods, lovecraftian concepts, human willpower (its nature and lack of), artificial intelligence, andriods and interfaces, Horror, scifi, fantasy, psychology, and escapism.<br />
<br />
Musically it varies from psychedlic heavyrock to primitive electro to pure experimental ( you wont find much to dance to here)."^^xsd:string
