"<p><font face="Arial">elixdroid is a multi-instrumentalist who is primarily, although not exclusively a producer of music and sound of an ambient and experimental nature. From simple haunting and moving piano pieces to complex and sometimes distrubing electronic soundscapes, he enjoys challenging our ears.<br />
<br />
From an early age he became interested in experimenting with normal day to day instruments and electronics available around the house. He noticed that by putting the batteries of his mono audio cassette player in a slightly different configeration would cause the machine to record sound at half speed. Thus when inserting the batteries correctly, the recording played back at double speed.<br />
<br />
The family pianola, already a strange and fantastic piece of machinery, became even more interesting as various different substrates were 'attached' to the hammers, or objects were carefully placed in between the strings. Felixdroid was yet to discover John Cage. Later, after joining art school, his available palette of instruments was increased as the establishment had a sound studio, crammed with an assortment of ethnic drums and percussion instruments, guitars, early monophonic synths and an eight track recording facility. His creative yearnings truly began to blossom.<br />

Felixdroid is excited by the vast sonic landscape that exists, and welcomes anyone who wishes to follow him on his travels. <br />
