"Chopin's Op. 22 is most often called "Grande Polonaise Brillante" preceded by "Andante Spianato". The first part, Andante Spianato, is a lengthy piano solo, which segues into the Grande Polonaise, which is a piece in the Polonaise style, composed for Piano and Orchestra. In this respect, it is best to classify the entire opus under "Piano with Orchestra", because the solo part can be played alone, but it is an extract of the entire work as a whole.
